Schedule

Day shift
12-hour shifts preferred; 10-hour shifts can be accommodated
Start time: 7:00 AM
Call required: 1 night per week and 1 weekend every 4–6 weeks
Holiday call may be requested
Call response time: 1 hour

Setting

Operating room
4 ORs and 6 procedure rooms
Average daily case volume: 46
Floating is limited to other ORs only

Required Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS
ACLS
PALS
Must be comfortable with orthopedic, total joint, spine, and general/laparoscopic cases

Preferred Qualifications

CNOR
Eye experience

Responsibilities / Work Environment

Scrubbing is not required for RNs
Charge nurse available
Surgical techs are present
Fast-paced, quick-turnover environment
Teamwork and punctuality are important
