Radiology Technologist

Overview

• 13-week contract
• Fargo, North Dakota
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour day shifts; weekends days

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent radiology tech experience
• Active BLS certification from AHA
• Active ARRT (R)
• NDMRT licensure required, or willingness to apply within 48 hours of offer acceptance
• Experience with portables and ER
• OR experience with C-arm
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital
• Working knowledge of diagnostic radiographic principles, including radiographic positioning, film/image processing, quality control, and radiation protection

Clinical Setting

• 300+ beds
• 50 ER rooms
• 28 ORs
• Procedures include ER, PICU, NICU, Endoscopy, General X-ray, Portable X-rays, Panorex, inpatient/outpatient fluoroscopy, swallow studies, cystograms, VCUGs, urethrograms, arthrograms, lumbar punctures, myelograms, neurosurgery, urology, orthopedics, and pediatrics

• Siemens Luminos Agile Fluoro Room
• Siemens Artis Zee Fluoro Room
• Siemens Mira Portables
• Medtronic O-arm
• Hologic Fluoroscan Mini C-arm
• Midmark Panorex
• Orientation includes review of all equipment with a preceptor and sign-off as competent before use
• Training is required to demonstrate ability to use C-arm and O-arm before performing OR cases

• Radiation badge supplied by agency/traveler
• All clinicians must badge in and out
• Gray scrubs
• Candidates living within 80 miles are considered local rate
• If previously worked for Sanford Health, there must be an end date at least 6 months before submission
