Overview

• Location: Middletown, New York
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 3x12s
• Hours per week: 36
• Schedule: 8, 10, or 12 hour days
• Call: Some on-call hours may be required

Role Details

• The unit has 11 rooms and handles about 40 cases per day.
• The RN must circulate.
• No scrubbing is necessary.
• The unit does not do Open Hearts or Transplants.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred
• American Nurses Association endorsed Certifications or Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses Certification preferred
