Registered Nurse – Adult Psychiatric (Night Shift)

Location: State College, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: Nights (two 18:45–07:15 shifts and two 22:45–07:15 shifts per week, every other weekend)
Hours per Week: 40

Job Summary

Provide direct professional nursing care to adult psychiatric patients.
Assess patient needs, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum of 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Crisis Prevention Institute Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI NCI) training.

Additional Information

Contract length interpreted as 13 weeks.
Night shift schedule includes every other weekend work.
