Outpatient Chemotherapy/Infusion RN

Overview

• Contract role in Sidney, Montana
• Day shift, Monday through Friday
• 32 hours per week
• The role is based in the Infusion area of the Cancer Care department

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Montana
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of infusion experience
• Infusion experience within the last year
• Hematology / Oncology experience
• Experience with Epic
• ONS/ONCC

Role Summary

• Provides oncology nursing care for patients receiving chemotherapy infusion
• Responsibilities include health history assessment, carrying out physician orders, in-office procedures, patient and family education, chemotherapy administration, cancer symptom management, patient monitoring, communication with patients and physicians, direct nursing care, and triage of patient care needs
