Overview

Provides nursing care on the OB unit for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gyn patients.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Maine
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience in an Acute Care setting
  • Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • Post Partum experience
  • Nursery experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate
  • STABLE
  • AWHONN

Additional Information

  • Performs general and unit-specific clinical skills
  • Works under the supervision of the charge nurse
  • Responsible for managing supplies and equipment
  • Requires effective written and oral communication skills
  • Computer skills are needed
