Monitor Technician I
Location
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Job Type
- Full-time, 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Role Summary
- Monitors telemetry for patients after nursing staff attach them to the telemetry unit.
- Performs ECGs as needed.
- Helps troubleshoot monitor equipment and alerts staff when a patient is in crisis.
- Maintains rhythm strip printouts, alarm settings, and monitor-area supplies.
Required Qualifications
- Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association, required upon hire.
- Monitor Technician experience within the last year.
- One completed travel assignment.
- 1 year of Monitor Technician experience.
Experience
- No experience required.
Helpful Skills
- Basic arrhythmia interpretation.
- ECG tracing.
- Good computer skills.
- Good interpersonal skills for working effectively with staff.
Additional Notes
- Travel experience is required.
