Location: Wausau, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 7 weeks

Full-time, 40 hours per week
Shift: 8-hour day shift (approximately 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) with some flexibility depending on census
Weekend/Holiday: Every 5th weekend and holiday rotation
On-call: 2-3 times per month
Patient load: 20-25 patients, averaging 4.5 visits per day (may vary based on travel and census)
Travel distance: 25-60 miles per day depending on territory and patient census; mileage reimbursed at government-approved rate
Potential float to nearby locations with highest need in Wausau

OASIS admissions, all time points, and episode management
Coordination of care including physician calls
Timely documentation in EMR (Epic Remote Client/Remote Care)
Clinical competencies required in wound care, IV therapy, ports, lab draws, and chronic disease management

Active Wisconsin or Compact Registered Nurse license
AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Valid driver’s license
Minimum 2+ years of home health nursing experience
Prior travel experience required
Experience with OASIS charting required; familiarity with Epic Remote Client/Remote Care preferred
OASIS certification is a plus

Must be dependable, accountable, compassionate, resilient, and able to manage change well
Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
Dress code: navy blue scrubs
Contract includes eligibility for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours with potential call-back pay if called in during these hours
Guaranteed hours per week except during holidays when the unit is closed
Flu season policy: Travelers declining flu and COVID vaccinations must wear a mask at all times per facility policy; non-compliance may result in corrective action

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (radius rule expired but noted)
Travel involves driving to multiple patient homes within the assigned territory each day
