Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- On-call as needed
Required Experience & Skills
- 2 to 3 years recent Radiology Tech experience (higher end of range applies)
- Experience with GI procedures, General X-ray, C-arm use in the OR, and portable X-ray
- Level I Trauma experience preferred
- Familiarity with equipment/software such as Siemens, GE OEC, Ziehm, Shimadzu, Philips PACS
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Required Licenses & Certifications
- Active Florida CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) license
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification via AHA
Background & Compliance Requirements
- Successful completion of Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks and abuse registry review
- Government-issued photo ID required and must be carried during hours of service
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start date
- Physical exam within 6 months of start, signed by DO, MD, NP, APRN, or PA, confirming ability to perform job without restrictions
- Annual fit mask test with approved masks (3M 1860 Regular or Small)
- Negative QuantiFERON TB test within 6 months (TSPOT and PPD not accepted) or chest X-ray if prior positive
- Required immunizations or proof of immunity:
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer; boosters required if low/equivocal titer)
- Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination
- Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer; boosters if low/equivocal titer)
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
Additional Requirements
- Completion of multiple online orientation and training modules prior to start, including but not limited to:
- Clinical/Online Orientation
- Annual Risk Management
- General Compliance & Ethics Training
- Code of Conduct
- Emergency Management Education
- Preventing & Reporting Workplace Harassment
- ICU Medical modules related to IV medication, hazardous drugs, and equipment
- Stroke and Stroke Core Measures Review
- End of Life Care
- Procedural Sedation (Adults and Pediatrics)
- Laser Safety (if applicable)
- HIPAA Privacy Training
- Badge photo required (passport-style, white background, color, no obstructions)
- Two professional references required, with at least two from the last 2 years
- Must comply with all facility-specific policies and training requirements
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum of 2 years Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
