Travel/Contract Registered Nurse Job

• Titusville, Florida

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• Day shift, 4x12 hours
• 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend
• No block scheduling
• No RTO during the first or last week of the assignment

Role Details

• Mixed unit, high-acuity setting
• Floating required within scope
• Rapid Response team experience required
• Total joints experience required
• Strong telemetry experience required
• Patient ratio experience required: 1:6
• Must be available for mandatory clinical orientation week with 5 shifts
• Local travelers must live more than 30 miles from the facility

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Total joints experience
• Rapid Response experience
• Ortho Trauma experience

Compliance / Onboarding

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• Education verification
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance
• Physical exam
• Fit testing
• TB screening
• MMR immunity or waiver
• Hepatitis B immunity or series documentation
• Varicella immunity or waiver
• COVID vaccination documentation or approved exemption
• Flu vaccination or declination
• 9-panel drug screen
• Two professional references
• Skills checklist
• Performance evaluation if previously completed through an agency
