Role
- Physical Therapist with Neuro experience needed
- Outpatient setting
- Day shift: 5x8, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in California
- Physical Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience working with Neuro patients
Floating
- Floats to the inpatient mental health unit upstairs once or twice a week to perform new evaluations when ordered
Common Diagnoses
- Parkinson’s
- MS
- ALS
- stroke
- cord injury
- some oncology
Additional Required Items
- Unit-specific skills checklist
- Full 7 years of work history in the application, including city and state for each location, with no gaps
- Employment verification for up to 7 years, with any gaps over 30 days explained
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit test within 1 year of start
- Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start
- TB screening within 90 days of start
- Flu documentation during flu season
- Color blind exam if applicable
