Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Johnson City, Tennessee
• Evening shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract
• Level 1 Trauma Center and teaching hospital
• Traveler must live 100 miles or more from the hospital’s service area
• 16 hours of nonbillable orientation
• General orientation begins on Mondays and includes online CBLs

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
• ARRT
• BLS issued by American Heart Association

Additional Requirements

• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked/in school in the past 7 years, and updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG within 30 days of start
• Education verification required for all candidates
• Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry required if licensed or certified in Tennessee or working at a Tennessee facility
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement annually
• State License 1 verification
• NURSYS verification
• Color blind testing online
• Competency exam
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable by profession
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB or chest X-ray
• Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella immunization/titer documentation
• Drug screen within 14 days of start
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
• Photo for badge
• Staff info form within 24 hours of signed contract
• Contaminated sharps and body fluid exposure statement
• Respirator medical evaluation questionnaire within 48 hours of signed contract
• Respiratory medical clearance form
• CDC facial hair guidelines review for respirator use
• Department-specific uniform guidelines
• Dress code review
• Smoking and tobacco use review
• Influenza policy review

Notes

• Hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases
• Additional shifts above the work commitment may be flexed as needed without penalty
• Candidate can receive the flu vaccine at no charge at a Team Member Health office during the stated flu season window
