Med Surg Renal Unit LPN/LVN

Overview

• Travel/contract assignment in Dayton, Ohio
• 13-week contract
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• Unit has 22 beds
• Minimum every other holiday and every other weekend availability required
• Float required; traveler is first to float at Premier’s discretion and may float within the specialty cluster or to medically appropriate assignments
• If assigned to MVH, floating may include Main Campus (Dayton), South Campus (Centerville), and North Campus (Englewood)

Required Qualifications

• Valid LPN / LVN license in Ohio
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• 1 year of Med Surg experience
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• Experience in an acute care setting
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:5-6
• IV certification
• Experience with Epic
• Ability to float within specialty cluster and accept medically appropriate assignments
• Ohio licensure verification required
• NURSYS verification required
• Government-issued photo ID required
• E-Verify required
• Current resume/application required
• 2 references from within 2 years of start, with 1 from a Manager/Supervisor/Charge RN
• Skills checklist within 1 year prior to documentation due date and updated annually
• Physical exam within 2 years of start
• Negative TB or chest X-ray
• Drug screen within 12 months prior to documentation due date
• Annual health questionnaire
• Candidate agreement
• Respiratory protection medical questionnaire and clearance
• References, work history verification, and other onboarding documentation as listed by the source

Preferred

• LTAC LPN experience
