Overview

Travel/contract role in Fredericksburg, Virginia
Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Start date: ASAP
First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates accepted
Floating required within scope to meet facility needs
Every other weekend required
On-call not required
Travel pairs are allowed, but same schedule is not guaranteed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
SICU - Surgical Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS

Clinical Focus

Surgical ICU care for trauma, cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, and other complex surgical patients
Common patient needs include dysrhythmia management, arterial line management, blood product administration, ventilator support, DKA, sepsis, GI bleed, trauma, open-heart recovery, TAVR recovery, post-code care, multi-system organ failure, and CRRT

Short-term acute care, Level II trauma center
