Job Description

• Provide radiologic technologist services with proficiency in Siemens general radiography equipment, Carestream portable units, GE OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-arm.
• Support all areas of Radiology including plain film imaging, operating room exams, and portable exams.
• Must have operating room experience, particularly with C-arms and O-arms.
• Work includes occasional surgery fluoroscopy and operating room cases.
• Will float across multiple campuses within the local area.
• Use of EPIC electronic medical records system required.
• Work schedule includes night shifts.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 24 months of current X-Ray experience, preferably in a hospital or medical center setting.
• Experience with Siemens fixed radiography equipment.
• Experience with Carestream portable radiography units.
• Experience with GE OEC C-arms.
• Surgery fluoroscopy experience required.
• Proficient operating room experience due to occasional OR cases.
• Experience with all age groups (shift dependent) is highly preferred.
• Level I trauma experience is highly preferred.
• Pediatric experience is preferred.

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Active Iowa Radiology Technologist license is highly preferred; candidates willing to apply for licensure at time of acceptance will be considered.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Additional Information

• Must provide a detailed work history/resume showing at least 24 months of X-Ray experience.
• Skills checklist specific to Radiology Technologist / X-Ray discipline required.
• Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months are preferred.
• Orientation dates available in early May.
• Work hours typically 36-40 hours per week; overtime policies apply.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
