Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical/Telemetry

Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Setting: Inpatient Hold Unit (preference for ability to take Emergency Department patients as well)

Job Description

Provide nursing care on a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit with inpatient hold ratios and acuity.
May be required to manage Emergency Department patients.

Required Qualifications

Licensure and Education

Valid RN license in Connecticut.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience.
Telemetry experience must be within the last year.

Certifications (Must be current and valid)

Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC).
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
