Overview

Experienced Cath Lab / IR Technologist needed for a cardiovascular intervention role. The position includes training across interventional cardiology, interventional neurology, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology. Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center is explicitly stated as ideal.

Required Qualifications

• Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of experience
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• Graduate of an accredited radiology program
• IEMA-DNS
• ARRT (R)
• ARRT (VI)
• ARRT (CI)
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS

Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification, consent, allergies, and contrast reaction history
• Prepare and monitor patients and equipment during procedures
• Assist with contrast injection, medications, vascular access, and interventional procedures
• Monitor vital signs, distal pulses, procedural data, and radiation exposure
• Use sterile technique and support infection prevention
• Acquire, process, and enhance digital images, including 3D reconstructions
• Assist with ultrasound guidance for vascular or organ access/biopsy
• Provide post-procedural care and practical instruction for students and partners
