Required Qualifications

• RN license
• BLS
• NIHSS
• WA or Compact License
• 1 year experience
• Telemetry experience

Clinical Details

• Ratios: 1:4-6
• Common patient types: CHF, COPD, PNA, General Surgical, Stroke, Cardiac
• RNs are required to titrate drips
• Common titratable/set-rate drip: Heparin
• Charge Nurse and House Supervisor: Yes, both
• Nurse aide ratio: 1:8-16
• Telemetry setup: monitor techs; RNs validate, read, and document strips
• All beds are telemetry capable

Schedule

• Weekend requirement based on unit needs/demands
• Holiday requirement: 2 of 3 major holidays
• No call or standby requirement
• Floating: all RNs may float within their scope
