MS/Tele 3rd Floor RN
Overview
- 13-week contract
- Gig Harbor, Washington
- Nights, 12-hour shifts (7p-7a)
- 36 hours per week

- 96 beds
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- BLS
- NIHSS
- WA or Compact License
- 1 year experience
- Telemetry experience
Clinical Details
- Ratios: 1:4-6
- Common patient types: CHF, COPD, PNA, General Surgical, Stroke, Cardiac
- RNs are required to titrate drips
- Common titratable/set-rate drip: Heparin
- Charge Nurse and House Supervisor: Yes, both
- Nurse aide ratio: 1:8-16
- Telemetry setup: monitor techs; RNs validate, read, and document strips
- All beds are telemetry capable
Schedule
- Weekend requirement based on unit needs/demands
- Holiday requirement: 2 of 3 major holidays
- No call or standby requirement
- Floating: all RNs may float within their scope
