- 5 days/week
- 40 hours/week
Unit Details
- 4 suites/labs
- 18-25 cases per day on average
- Cardiac patients, inpatient and outpatient, adult and pediatric
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Cardiology (2 years of experience)
- Cardiology experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- EKG Interpretation
- Electrophysiology Lab experience
Job Duties
- Supervise stress test
- Start IVs
- Give cardiac meds during testing
- Review patient history and medications
- Enter information into Case Cart and Epic
- Respond to emergencies
- Assess patients prior to testing
- Collaborate closely with Nuc Med, Echo, PFT Lab, Cardiology fellows, and Cardiologists
Additional Information
- Local rate applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles
- OSF call off policy: equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift
- 12 non-billable orientation hours; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
- 1 week of department orientation
- Drug screen required for all panels
- Scrubs: any color
- Dress code per OSF policy
- No call, standby, or floating requirement
