Registered Nurse – Home Health
Location: Meridian, Idaho
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Home Health
- Shift: Days
- Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
- Weekend on-call rotation required (rotated among staff)
- Typical patient visits: 5-6 routine visits per day
- Travel between visits: Approximately 15-20 minutes, with efforts to keep clinicians in tight geographic areas
- Overtime availability: Yes
- Documentation system: EPIC Remote Client (transitioning toward Rover technology)
- Equipment provided: Laptop and phone (possible iPad in future)
- Work start/end location:
- Initial orientation requires starting and ending the day at the office paired with a preceptor for support
- After orientation, nurses may start and end their day at home
- Patient appointment cancellations are managed by pulling visits forward to keep schedules full
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Idaho
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 5 years of Home Health nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Proficient in OASIS documentation
- Strong knowledge of Medicare homebound criteria
- Ability to determine primary skill for visits (hands-on care, direct care, observe/assess, education, monitoring & evaluation)
