Assignment Details

4W Ortho/General Surgical PCU
40-bed unit
Ratios are 4:1 and may flex up to 6:1 depending on staffing and acuity
Floating is required; travelers are first to float and may also float to other sister campuses
No locals accepted
Radius rule of 50 miles is enforced
All requested time off must be submitted with the application; no time off will be approved after submission
Hard document deadline is Monday prior to start; no exceptions for pending documents
Culture is very important, and travelers are expected to function like core staff

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
