Registered Nurse - Utilization Review

Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Work Setting: Remote
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with every fifth weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Utilization Management role focused on utilization review.
  • Floating required; travelers are prioritized for floating assignments, potentially to other nearby campuses.
  • Must be computer literate with experience working remotely (own computer required).
  • Use of EMR systems: Epic and UM tool Dragonfly.
  • Culture emphasizes integration of travelers as core staff members.
  • Strict documentation deadlines with no exceptions.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Utilization Management.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Certified Case Manager (CCM) or Certified Managed Care Nurse (CMCN) certification.
  • Degree accreditation verification required OR a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior travel experience highly preferred.
  • Must reside within a 50-mile radius of permanent address.

  • Interviews include a prescreen and a final manager interview before offer.
  • Return to Office (RTO) requests must be submitted with application; no approvals after submission.
