Registered Nurse (Pediatrics) - Travel Assignment
Location: Albany, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a pediatric inpatient setting.
- Must be comfortable managing patients with high flow nasal cannula, tracheostomy, gastrostomy tubes (G-tube), and jejunostomy tubes (J-tube).
- Pediatric Hematology/Oncology experience is preferred.
- Navy blue scrubs are required.
- Use of EPIC electronic medical record system is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with pediatric patients in an inpatient setting
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
Additional Information
- Local candidates from certain counties are not eligible to apply as of 1/11/2024.
- Floating to other units may be required.
- Pediatric Hematology/Oncology experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Note: Prior travel experience is not specified as a requirement.
