Position Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Recovery Room / PACU
- Location: Anchorage, Alaska
- Employment Type: Travel
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Unit: Recovery Room / Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Shift Options:
- Three 12-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
- Three 12-hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM
- Call: Approximately 4-5 night call shifts per 4-week schedule, including 1-2 Saturdays per month
- Overtime: Available
Unit Information
- Patient Ratio: 2:1
- Typical Staff:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 8 Staff RNs, 1 PCA
- Night Shift: 2 Staff RNs on call
- Equipment: Telemonitoring, Post Cardiac, Cath Devices, Orthopedic Devices
- EMR System: EPIC
- Floor: 2nd floor, Main Hospital Building
Requirements
- Licenses: Permanent Alaska RN license required
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
- Experience: PACU experience required
- Typical Procedures: Recovery from deep sedation, management of post-procedural devices

- Dress Code: Caribbean Blue scrubs provided by facility
