Radiology Technician (Cath Lab Rad Tech)

Job Description

• Position in Cath Lab as Radiology Technician
• Must have experience in Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology
• Required certifications/licenses:

  • Fluoroscopy license
  • AART (American Association of Radiologic Technologists) certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

Required Experience

• Specialty: Radiology Technician with Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology experience
• Years of experience: Not explicitly stated, but must have relevant Cath Lab/interventional radiology experience (implied minimum experience required)

• Health & Safety Requirements:

  • Fluoroscopy license
  • ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
  • COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses plus booster or declination)
  • MMR vaccination or positive titer (declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
  • Influenza vaccine or declination (required Nov 1 - Mar 31)
  • TB test within one year of start date
  • Varicella vaccination/titer or declination
  • Tdap vaccination or declination
  • Physical/Health statement completed within one year, stating clear to work
  • Drug screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC saliva test for CA locations) within 60 days of start
  • Color-blind test (updated annually)
  • Respirator fit test (annual; must be completed prior to start if not available onsite)

• Testing & Competency:

  • Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80%)
  • Prime Specialty Exam (minimum 80%)
  • Prime Skills Checklist

Additional Notes

• Sexual Harassment Prevention Training valid for 2 years is required and covered during orientation
• Name verification affidavit is optional, only if there are discrepancies between credentials
• Badge photo may be requested for onboarding but is optional

This position requires a qualified Radiology Technician with Cath Lab/interventional radiology experience and all required certifications and health clearances to work in a California healthcare facility.
