Job Opportunity: Technologist - Electrophysiology (Days)
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours
- Required to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units
- Must work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed
- Orientation available on select dates
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC
- Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply
- Call back and on-call pay provided with minimum hours
- Charge/preceptor pay available
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of current Electrophysiology (EP) experience (highest requirement)
- Required experience with Stim procedures
- Work history/resume must document 24 months of Electrophysiology/EP and Cardiac Cath/CCL experience
- Skills checklist specific to Electrophysiology/EP and Cardiac Cath/CCL discipline required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Professional reference from charge/supervisor or equivalent within the last 24 months preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Cardiac Cath lab experience
- RCIS or RCES certification (preferred but not required)
- Prior travel experience highly preferred
Additional Information
- Employee separation policy restricts past employees of this health system from working travel contracts in other markets within 12 months
- Holiday work is mandatory unless the unit is closed
- The facility is a Level I Trauma Center with a comprehensive cardiac care program and a strong reputation in cancer care and rehabilitation services
