Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown (Nights)

Job Description

• Care for patients with STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule out, congestive heart failure (CHF), noninvasive ventilation, post-cardiothoracic surgery after ICU, antiarrhythmic IV medications, and peripheral vascular compromise.
• Float to Med/Surg or Emergency Room to cover CVCU/Med Surg holds.
• No block scheduling; flexibility required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
• Minimum 2 years of Stepdown Unit (SDU) experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing experience.
• Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience.

• Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate.
• On-call pay provided at a set hourly rate with a minimum payout.
• Non-compete: Former direct employees are ineligible for agency placement until 6 months after direct employment ends.
