Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract
Location
- Manchester, New Hampshire
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts (6:15 AM - 6:45 PM)
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required, no on-call
Job Description
- Acute care community hospital setting (300 beds)
- Patient population: Infants through geriatrics (neonates preferred)
- Departments: ER, adult med/surg, adult critical care, trauma, community hospital, adult ICU
- Respiratory therapy driven protocols
- Responsibilities include:
- Nebulizer treatments, chest physiotherapy (CPT)
- High flow oxygen, non-invasive ventilation (NIV)
- Cough assist, intrapulmonary percussive ventilation (IPV)
- Assisting with intubations and bronchoscopies
- Mechanical ventilation management
- In-house transport of mechanically ventilated patients
- Pediatric ER and pediatrics only if competency demonstrated
- Continuous albuterol administration
- Equipment experience preferred with Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Servo I, LTV 1200/HT70 ventilators
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in New Hampshire
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
