Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per 13 weeks), 12 hours per shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position: Radiology/CT Technologist
• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years in Radiology / Cardiology specialty
• First-time travelers accepted
• Weekend work required
• No on-call duties
• Regular floating between departments, units, and facilities may be required within scope
• Local candidates not accepted (home must be at least 75 miles from facility)
• Pending licenses not accepted
• No more than 7 days of Return to Office (RTO) restrictions

Required Certifications & Skills

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - CT)
• ARRT R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography)
• Skills:

  • Experience with GE imaging equipment
  • Performing head CT scans with and/or without contrast
  • Preparation and administration of contrast media
  • Starting peripheral IVs

Facility & Equipment

• Trauma Level 1 and Stroke center experience preferred
• Use of EPIC for charting
• Scrub color: Blue

Required Qualifications

• CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT (CT) certification
• ARRT (Radiography) certification
