Work Schedule

• Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:00 to 6:30)
• 2 call shifts per month (days or nights depending on unit needs)
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• No weekend or floating requirements specified

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Work Environment & Systems

• Experience with Med/Surg, Cardiac Telemetry, or Telemetry units required
• Medication system: Pyxis
• Documentation system: Amrita
• Scrub color: Any

Additional Requirements

• Unexpired government-issued photo ID
• Background checks including SS trace, county searches (last 7 years), nationwide sex offender registry, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG prior to start
• National certification verification as applicable by profession and state
• Signed acknowledgment of safety manual and Joint Commission training (updated annually)
• Physical exam within last 12 months
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable
• Required immunizations or titers: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Drug screening within last 12 months
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (no declinations or religious exemptions accepted; medical exemptions require physician documentation)
• Colorado state CAPS release authorization and CAPS check results required
• Two professional references within last 3 years
• Skills checklist required
• Medication and competency exams as applicable

Notes

• First-time travel nurses are accepted
• Return to office (RTO) parameters require manager approval
