Job Description
- Position: Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (RVT)
- Float between units: No
- On-call required: Yes, 4 nights need call coverage
- Weekends required: No
- Block schedules required: No
- Expected patient ratio: 1:1
- Shift options:
- Day: 4 shifts of 10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Night: 4 shifts of 10 hours (10:00 PM - 8:00 AM)

Required Qualifications
- Valid Vascular Sonographer license in Oregon
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Vascular Sonographer within the last year
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Background check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start, updated monthly
- Education verification required for all candidates
- Drug screen: 9-panel within 12 months of start (instant acceptable)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- TDAP (within 10 years) or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer or declination
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer or declination
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination (required during flu season)
- COVID vaccination documentation preferred; declinations accepted
- Respirator clearance required annually for travel candidates
- Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background) required
Additional Requirements
- Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable
- Skills checklist updated annually for applicable units
- Float policy acknowledgement (may be required to float to other facilities within reasonable distance)
- References and work history verification as needed
