Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
• CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• ARRT (CT)

Role Summary

• Coordinates and performs CT procedures
• Administers contrast material under physician direction
• Sets exposure factors according to established protocols
• Operates and adjusts equipment as needed
• May work independently or as part of an imaging team

Additional Onboarding Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID must be carried while on assignment
• Background check before start
• Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
• Fingerprinting within 48 hours of signing the contract
• Education verification required
• Unit-specific competency exam within 12 months of start and annually
• Medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable by profession
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit testing completed onsite on the first day of orientation
• Tdap vaccination every 10 years
• Negative TB screening within 6 months of start
• MMR immunity documentation for measles, mumps, and rubella
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Varicella immunity documentation
• Standard 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
• Flu vaccine or approved exemption required year round
• 2 references within 1 year of start from a manager, ANM, supervisor, charge nurse, or director
• Skills checklist required annually
• Online training modules must be completed before clearance to start
