Operating Room Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Winston-Salem, North Carolina
13-week assignment
Day shift, Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–3:15 PM
40 hours per week
May float to other surgical services areas
Call is typically once per week, with holiday rotation and possible weekend call coverage
Patient population includes women ages 12 and up
Ratio: 1:1

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in North Carolina
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Experience

Circulating experience
Robotics training preferred

Unit Details

GYN surgical procedures include therapeutic abortions, hysterectomies, laparoscopies, hysteroscopies, D&C, endometriosis treatment, sacrocolpopexy, pelvic procedures, bladder slings, cystoscopes, bulkamid, interstim, exploratory laparotomy, cold knife cones, and LEEP procedures
No oncology cases
Da Vinci, NovaSure, and MyoSure equipment used

Additional Notes

RTO after booking is not allowed
Scrubs are provided
