Job Overview

• Location: Huntingdon, Pennsylvania
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays
• Local candidates: Not accepted within a 50-mile radius

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS

• 2 professional references within the last 3 years
• Background check
• Education verification
• PA Child Abuse Search
• PA FBI fingerprinting results on file before start
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Tdap vaccination within the past 10 years, or facility declination
• COVID vaccine or facility declination
• Flu vaccine or facility declination during flu season
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or acceptable documentation/declination
• Breathalyzer test within 30 days of start
• Skills checklist
• Competency exam
• Medication/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable
• Orientation packet and acknowledgements
• Medical surveillance checklist
• Bloodborne pathogen quiz
• Photo for badge

Unit-Specific Notes

• MAB, CPI, or comprehensive crisis management certification may be required for Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, and Acute Care units.
