Job Opportunity: Certified Surgical First Assistant

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Summary

• Position requires completion of a privileging process prior to start (approximately 3-4 months).
• Schedule: Day shifts.
• Call: One day per week and one weekend every ~4 weeks (subject to change).
• Floating within facility and to Main OR as needed.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Full compliance with all requirements is mandatory to start on time.
• No holiday return to office (RTO) accepted.
• Maximum return to office (RTO) is 7 days.

Required Qualifications

• CSFA certification.
• Current NBSTSA or NCCSA certification.
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR Technologist experience.
• CVOR Technologist experience within the last year.
• CVOR First Assist experience.

Additional Information

• Privileging specialties require additional compliance checklists and documentation.
• Candidates must review and sign facility-specific policies such as Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance.
• Orientation hours vary based on contract length.
• Locals are accepted at the same rate.
• Clinical screening will be conducted to determine fit before final approval.

• Privileging process must be completed before start date; this process can take approximately 120 days.
• Candidates cannot start with pending background checks or drug screens.
• Full compliance with all documentation and credentialing is required to avoid delays.
• Prior travel experience is not required for this position.
