Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Minimum 2 years of oncology experience, including oncology experience within the last year.
  • Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
  • Experience in an inpatient setting.
  • Experience in charge nurse roles.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Ability to administer chemotherapy if needed.
  • Skills in accessing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draws, PICC line management, and chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur-evac).
