Shift Details

Day shift
3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:15 AM to 7:15 PM)
Total 36 hours per week

Job Description

Care for patients admitted and waiting in the Emergency Department on bed availability, possibly in designated areas or hallways
May float to acute care areas if no patients are boarded (rare)
Work every other weekend and some holidays
Floating within scope of practice to meet facility needs
Block scheduling accommodations available
Local candidates within 25-mile radius may be considered if needed

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Emergency Department (ED) experience
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
