Operating Room RN

Overview

Travel/Contract role in New Orleans, Louisiana
13-week assignment
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:15 AM to 6:45 PM
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday plus one weekday
On-call required
Unit does not accept first-time travelers

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Louisiana
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Neuro patients
Must be highly proficient in General surgery
Must be highly proficient in Robotics surgery
Must be highly proficient in Colorectal surgery
Must be highly proficient in GU (genitourinary) surgery
Must be highly proficient in GYN (gynecologic) surgery
Must be highly proficient in Orthopedic surgery
Must be highly proficient in Neuro surgery
Must be highly proficient in ENT surgery
Experience with Epic

Additional Notes

Candidates must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
Travelers may be assigned to an Emergency Team during an emergency event and may be expected to remain at the facility or serve on the relief team
