Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Mayfield Heights, Ohio
• Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check prior to start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM screening, monthly
• HHS/OIG screening, monthly
• Fingerprinting within 48 hours of signed contract; FBI and BCI results required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Education verification
• Primary source verification of state license within 30 days of start
• Nursys verification within 30 days of start
• Baseline competency exam for bedside RNs except OR RNs
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Tdap vaccination or approved exemption
• Negative TB or chest X-ray
• Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella documentation
• Standard 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
• Flu documentation required by seasonal deadline
• Eye exam within 1 year of start
• 2 references from employment within 1 year of start
• Employment application with 3 years prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
• Skills checklist annually
• Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprint result attestation

Notes

• AHA ACLS is not required for CVOR, OR, Pediatric OR, Ambulatory Care, and Behavioral Health, but it is required for this Med/Surg Tele RN role
• NIH Stroke Certification is not listed as required for this assignment
