RN Perioperative Circulator

Location

• Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Schedule

• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Call and weekends required

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Specialty Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute operating room environment

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• OR Circulate experience within the last year
• Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
• Perioperative experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from a Board Approved Program
• CNOR certification

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care for patients in the operating room
• Evaluate and document all components of perioperative care
• Individualize patient care based on health status, age, and the procedure being performed

Additional Notes

• Some computer skills are needed
• Strong communication, organization, teamwork, and relationship-building skills are important
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, procedures, and AORN Standards is expected
