Registered Nurse - CVOR

Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks (90 days)
Shift: 10-hour day shifts with flexibility to work in General OR; on-call required

Job Summary

Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions according to state Board of Nursing standards.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
Continuously evaluate patient health status through data collection and assessment.
Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy directly or through delegation and supervision.
Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
Document care in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Utilize resources effectively.
May float to other departments within scope of competency.
May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
Current RN license (Single State or Compact RN License).
BLS (AHA) certification.
ACLS (AHA) certification.

Additional Information

Must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily.

Prior experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
