Shift: Night shift, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)
Schedule: Weekdays plus alternating weekends

Job Description

• Perform diagnostic imaging with a focus on Computed Tomography (CT).
• Utilize EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality-specific software.
• Work in diagnostic imaging environment.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
• New York State licensure in Radiography.
• Certification by New York State to inject contrast media.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
• Maintain continuing education credits per ARRT requirements.
• Minimum 1 year of recent relevant CT experience preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and imaging software.

Certifications

• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) with primary source verification (AHA only).
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) with primary source verification (AHA only).
• Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) with primary source verification (AHA only).
• State license must be current and active with no pending adverse actions.
• National certification must be current/active with no pending adverse actions.
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (updated annually).

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check within 60 days prior to assignment covering all locations lived, worked, or attended school in the past 7 years, including all aliases.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, Social Security Verification, Sex Offender Search, OFAC Sanctions List Search within 60 days prior to start.
• Education Verification with primary source verification for all formal education listed.
• 20-year employment application and work history verification required, with all gaps accounted for.
• Two professional references within 2 years of start.
• Signed confidentiality agreement, staff attestation, harassment factsheet, and department orientation checklist.
• Completion of facility-specific required training modules and annual required training.
• Completion of prestart and EPIC learning modules as assigned.

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months of start including vital signs, review of systems, medical history, and clearance to work without restrictions.
• Fit mask test (N95) within 1 year prior to start; must be completed before assignment.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray per specified options within required timeframes.
• Annual TB questionnaire.
• Immunization or titer proof for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella with booster requirements if titers are low.
• Hepatitis B antibody and antigen titers or vaccine series or declination within 6 months of start.
• Hepatitis C titer within 6 months of start with follow-up documentation if positive.
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Sept 3 – May 31) with no declinations accepted without approved exemption.
• Negative 9-panel drug screen with chain of custody within 60 days prior to start (excluding marijuana).
• Vision screening (Snellen) within 12 months of start.
• Color blind testing as applicable (online and/or in-person if failed twice online).

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Position requires working alternating weekends.

• Non-clinical exemptions apply only if position is 100% remote with no onsite presence or patient care responsibilities (not applicable here).
