Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday
• On-call responsibilities with rotational weekends and holidays required
• A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required
• NYS license/registration required
• One year CT/MRI experience as a radiologic technologist required
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
• Perform radiographic examinations under direction of departmental radiologists
• Greet patients and explain examination procedures
• Position patients and set proper exposure factors for quality radiographs
• Practice appropriate radiation safety and protection protocols
• Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively to obtain quality studies
• Report equipment malfunctions to immediate supervisor
• Process films and input information into Radiology Information System
• Follow department procedures and protocols as defined in Policy and Procedure Manual
• Provide radiologic examinations based on referring physician and radiologist needs
