Schedule
- Night shift
- 3x12 hours
- 19:00–07:30
- Every other weekend required
Setting
- Emergency department
- Typical patient mix includes adult and pediatric ER, ambulance triage, ED holding, and lobby triage
- Traveler must be open to floating to different campuses
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Key Clinical Skills
- Breathing treatments
- Chest tube setup and care
- CPAP/BiPAP
- Procedure sedation
- RSI medication administration
- Trach care and vents
- Blood and blood product administration
- Cardioversion/defibrillation
- Cooling/warming blanket use
- CRRT/dialysis
- 12-lead EKG acquisition
- Rapid infuser use
Additional Notes
- Previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must have a 3-month separation from the health system to qualify
- Schedule is posted 6 weeks in advance
- Non-holiday DTO over 5 days may require manager review
