Job Overview

- Patient population includes ENT, Urology, Neuro, General, Ortho, and Trauma
- Average daily census: 25
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Pediatrics (6 months of experience)
- Pediatrics experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience
Schedule Expectations
- Minimum of 3 weekday nights and 2 weekends per 6-week schedule
- Minimum of 1–2 weekend day shifts per 6-week schedule
- Every other weekend required
Additional Role Details
- Break nurse duties approximately 20% of the time during an 8-hour shift
- Charting system: Surginet
