PICU Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Atlanta, Georgia
13-week assignment
Weekend days schedule: Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday
12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
Float to ICU areas across two campuses, including NICU, TICU, PICU, and CICU; may also float to general care areas if no ICU needs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Clinical Setting

ICU float role
Uses servo vents and respiratory therapy support in each ICU
Typical ICU drips, medications, and pressors
Patient ratio: 1:2
