Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Atlanta, Georgia
- 13-week assignment
- Weekend days schedule: Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday
- 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
- Float to ICU areas across two campuses, including NICU, TICU, PICU, and CICU; may also float to general care areas if no ICU needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Clinical Setting
- ICU float role
- Uses servo vents and respiratory therapy support in each ICU
- Typical ICU drips, medications, and pressors
- Patient ratio: 1:2
Compliance and Onboarding
- Government-issued photo ID
- Social Security card
- E-Verify documentation or attestation
- Background check
- Security and confidentiality agreement
- Competency exam
- 2 clinical references
- Resume/application
- Skills checklist for the applicable unit
Health Requirements
- Physical exam
- Fit mask testing
- Tdap vaccination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray documentation
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella immunity documentation
- Hepatitis B immunity documentation or declination
- Drug screening
- Seasonal flu vaccination documentation
