Schedule

• Night shift, 3x12 hours
• 36 hours per week
• Block schedule may be considered
• Weekend needs vary based on unit needs

Assignment Length

• 13 weeks

Role Overview

• ICU RN position requiring MICU and/or SICU experience
• Not an entry-level or novice RN role
• Must be able to work independently with complex, high-acuity medical, trauma, neuro, and surgical ICU patients
• Floating may be required within critical care and to other units as census needs change

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Montana
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience
• SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience within the last year
• SICU - Surgical Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency
• Prior experience in a critical care setting with telemetry/stepdown/PCU/ER familiarity is preferred

• COVID vaccination or approved exemption
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
• Fit testing for mask use
• Physical exam
• Immunity or vaccination documentation for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella
• Tdap documentation or declination
• References, including a direct supervisor reference within the last year
• Employment history documentation covering 7 years with explanation for gaps over 30 days
