Overview

• Travel/Contract role in New Haven, Connecticut
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Outpatient Oncology clinic
• Patients seen include breast surgery and plastic surgery patients
• Surgical experience required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Connecticut
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Oncology (2 years of experience)
• Oncology experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Surgical experience
• OR - Operating Room experience
• 7-year work history with no gaps greater than 90 days
• 7-year criminal background check
• 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit test within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Negative TB documentation or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire, updated annually
• References required within 3 years of start
• Skills checklist within 12 months of start
• Work history verification for the last 7 years
• Employment application with 7-year work history and no gaps greater than 90 days
• Color blind testing
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam within 12 months of start
• NURSYS verification
• State license verification
• EPLS/GSA/SAM
• HHS/OIG
• Drivers license or state ID
• 21st Century Cures Act module
• Language Services Training
• CAUTI Education Training
• Suicide Risk and Environmental Assessment Training
• Mobile Heartbeat Alarm module
• Stroke Education module
• CLABSI Prevention for Adult and Pediatric Training
• Preventing Pressure Injury Training
• Patient Transportation with Oxygen Education
• Pyxis ES MedStation Modules
• Baxter Pump Interoperability Training
• Patient Bedside Rounding
• Ventricular Assist Device Awareness module
• AME Blood Administration Module
• New Employee Orientation Module
• Fire Safety Module
• Tdap vaccination within 10 years of start is highly preferred, not required

• COVID vaccination initial series, if received
