Shift Details

• Night shift
• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:30 to 7:00)
• 36 hours per week

Unit and Patient Care

• Med/Surg Telemetry and Intermediate Care (IMC) Float Pool
• Float between Med/Surg units and IMC units
• Patient ratios: 1:4 to 1:6
• Patient conditions may include acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma patients

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
• Minimum 2 years of Intermediate Care nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Comfortable working with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6
• One completed travel nursing assignment
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
